- Must be willing travel and work away from home when required
- Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and overtime when necessary
- High School Diploma or equivalent education; and one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must possess valid licenses and certifications

Responsibilities
- The Equipment Operator will drive, maneuver, or control the heavy machinery during the construction process
- Safely and efficiently operate various pieces of heavy equipment, including loaders, excavators, dozers, graders, backhoes, etc
- Operate machinery in accordance with OSHA safety standards
- Communicate with Foreperson as to the daily job specifications
- Perform daily maintenance and inspections of equipment/machinery; refer major problems to foreperson
- Performs all duties safely and in accordance with health and safety policies and procedures
- Follow directions of the foreperson as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific project
- Clean the machines regularly (e.g., sweeping the cabs, removing trash, cleaning the interior, etc.)
- Assist in training less-experienced employees on the proper operations and servicing of equipment
- Various other duties as assigned
