Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of software programs, such as Procore, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- In-depth understanding of construction operations and processes
- Ability to write reports and professional correspondence to Architects, OPM’s, vendors, government officials, and clients
- Good reading comprehension for technical documents, such as safety regulations, assembly and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Excellent verbal communications skills, especially when addressing customers, clients or official visitors to the jobsite
- Keen eye to identify non-compliance with regulations or standards and ability to suggest solutions for deficiencies or problems
- Ability to stand for several hours at a time and to walk in varying climate conditions and on uneven ground
- Capacity to physically lift up to 100 lbs
- Massachusetts Construction Supervisors License
- 10+ years of previous experience as a Construction Superintendent on projects in value of at least $15 Million
- OSHA 30 Certification
- Must be knowledgeable of Massachusetts State Codes and Regulations
- Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities
- Manage a team of subcontractors and workers, including work schedules, project progress and resource allocation
- Coordinate scheduling of subcontractors, consultants, inspectors and vendors to complete each project on time
- Monitor work and materials to ensure quality control standards are met at various stages of the project
- Communicate with the project team and support each subcontractor to execute his job duties effectively and efficiently
- Maintain a written daily log of visitors, job actions performed, materials expended, and problems resolved on the job site
- Identify and resolve problems and conflicts, organizing meetings and cooperating with team members in various roles as necessary
- Plan inspections and obtain construction permits from local authorities
- Implement safety and quality guidelines
- Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliers
- Order the appropriate equipment and arrange for regular maintenance
- Keep track of material stock and orders
- Ensure the job site remains safe, clean, and orderly by setting an example in keeping the job site organized and clean, including meeting standards for waste disposal and environmental protection
- Resolve on-site issues and emergencies
