Qualifications
•Education: High School Graduate or the equivalent training and experience, minimum three years’ experience operating heavy equipment such as loaders, sweeper and/or backhoes
•Requirements: Applicants must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License including a medical certificate issued by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and a current Massachusetts Hoisting License
•Must possess knowledge and skill in the operation of heavy earth-moving motor equipment in all types of weather conditions
•Subject to CORI/SORI check, pre-employment physical and drug test

•This is a forty (40) hour a week union position with on-call, overtime opportunities and a very generous benefits package (including health insurance that the Town pays 68% of premium; dental insurance which 75% of premium is paid and pension plans)
•Salary is in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Unit currently in effect
•Current hourly pay is $23.51 - $24.94 which increases to $23.98 - $25.44hr. on July 1, 2024
•Employees are also paid 2 hours, at time and one-half, a week as a bonus for being in an on-call rotation
