Qualifications

•7+ years of prior related work experience

•Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field

•Professional Engineer License in Florida or ability to obtain within 4 months

•Experience with office productivity and industry-specific hydrologic and hydraulic software (e.g., MSOffice, ESRI GIS, EPA SWMM, HEC-RAS, MIKE SHE and ICPR)

•Ability to perform QA/QC related tasks for hydrologic models

•Experience with implementing stormwater models into design plans for construction

•Must have sound written and verbal communication skills

•Experience with data management and technical writing

•Must have project management skills

•Demonstrated professional judgment, consistency and attention to detail as well as a track record of producing quality work products

•Demonstrated experience working successfully in a team environment, remotely or locally

•Flexibility to work outside normal business hours as required

•Ability to establish effective internal and external working relationships

•Ability to communicate clearly with clients or supervisor and other project managers regarding project expectations and requirements

•Ability to swim

•Valid Florida driver’s license

•Must pass background check and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving (MVR) policy

•Applicant must have the ability to work in varying environments (office, lab and field settings)

•To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily

•The selected candidate must be authorized to work in the United States

 

Responsibilities

•Serves as project manager on water resource related projects

•Organizing, scheduling, and prioritizing assignments and tasks

•Performs standard or routine calculations;

•Preparing and checking project design, calculations, and drawings

•Prepare / assist in the preparation of permit applications and supporting materials

•Follow company safety policies and procedures, site safety standards and permit requirements 

•Performs site visits and contractor field oversight as needed in order to sign off on construction certification of completions

•Prepares technical reports documenting the work performed and findings of investigations

•Compiles information from reports and published documents; Evaluates and/or analyses the compiled information following standard methods and best engineering judgement
