The Equipment Operator reports to the Site Manager and can operate loaders, skid steers and/or sidewalk equipment. Operators must accept and execute the direction of their Site Manager and work efficiently with other operators and labor on site. Operators must provide updates to the Site Manager regarding the equipment condition. Arrival onsite at the directed time and availability for the duration of the storm is a must.
Equipment Operator Job Duties:
- Complete Case Snow classroom training and onsite training.
- Communicate regularly with the Site Manager assigned and report to site as directed.
- Visually inspect equipment, including pusher and attachment.
- Safely and efficiently operate equipment to clear site, according to the plow map, and as directed by Site Manager.
- Complete timesheet accurately and legibly.
- Perform equipment maintenance as requested (greasing machines, cleaning windshields, etc.).
Qualifications and Skills:
- 2+ years of operating experience
- Knowledge of site equipment used for snow removal
- Has transportation to and from site
- Available 24/7 as weather demands
- Enjoys working as a team onsite
- Applicable engineering hydraulic/hoisting license and/or DOT medical card
