Qualifications
- Experience operating Material Handler Fuchs/similar to load 50' open top trailers
- Experience loading exterior baler for yard light & heavy iron processing
- Heavy Equipment: 3 years (Required)
- Speaks English (Required)
- Drivers License - Hydraulics Class HE-1C & HE-2A (Required)

Responsibilities
- In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a variety of heavy machinery to efficiently handle, sort, and transport scrap materials
- Your expertise will ensure smooth yard operations, uphold safety standards, and contribute to the overall productivity of our facility

- Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and farm machinery to move and manage scrap materials effectively
- Safely load and unload metal scrap using appropriate machinery while adhering to safety protocols
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
- Assist with site preparation activities including grading, clearing debris, and setting up work zones
- Support the sorting process by maneuvering materials into designated areas with precision and care
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate daily tasks and ensure efficient yard operations
