Qualifications
- High school diploma and two years of experience in public works construction and maintenance activities; or any equivalent combination of education and experience
- Massachusetts CDL Class B drivers license required, with an air brake endorsement
- Massachusetts Class 4G Hoisting License
- Massachusetts 2B and IC Hydraulic license
- Working knowledge of public works equipment operations and mechanics
- Working knowledge of construction and maintenance procedures
- Knowledge of traffic laws
- Ability to perform heavy manual labor under varying weather conditions
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and properly
- Skill in the effective and efficient use of equipment and machinery

Responsibilities
- Skilled manual work in the operation of public works vehicles and equipment and in performing construction and maintenance activities; all other duties as assigned
