Qualifications

  • Hold a current Journeyman Electrician license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Expertise in residential / small commercial / retail wiring
  • Installation and Repair of General Electrical Wiring Methods
  • Minimum 2+ years residential and/or commercial service work experience as a Licensed Journeyman Electrician
  • Eagerness to please and show professionalism
  • Takes pride in keeping a clean work environment, keeping a clean company truck, having a clean personal appearance, having an on-time attitude, and an organized performance of work
  • Always exhibit a positive work attitude and quality of workmanship and work well with others
  • Be a team player with a positive can-do attitude, and not be afraid to ask questions about something you don’t have knowledge of, instead of taking risks
  • Integrity, strong work ethic, and willingness to work overtime if required
  • Willingness to expand knowledge, learning about cutting-edge products and technology offered by the company
  • Willingness to share knowledge and instruct others
  • Shall obtain a 15-hour Code update within the first six months of every license renewal cycle
  • Own a smartphone to communicate at work
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Shall submit to a background check and drug test (work performed at schools, municipalities, and other government work)
  • Individuals employed by an S-license holder must obtain a Certificate of Clearance prior to engaging in Security work

Responsibilities

  • Own hand tools, battery tools, and basic testing equipment (multimeter, etc.)
  • Ensure safe work practices are adhered to at all times
  • Ability to use a smartphone or tablet app for timekeeping, job notes, and following scopes of work
