Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED, plus three years' experience in Wastewater Treatment Facility operations, maintenance and repair, including experience with electric motor or diesel engine and centrifugal pumps; or any equivalent combination of education and experience
- Considerable knowledge of the Town's Wastewater Treatment Facility and of the pumping and treatment equipment; mechanical knowledge and ability; ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
- Grade 5 license required

- PAY: $25.96 - $31.91 PER HOUR
Responsibilities
- FULL-TIME (37 HOURS PER WEEK)
- WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT
- Skilled manual work in the operation, maintenance and repair of specialized stationary equipment and machinery at the Town's Wastewater Treatment Facility; all other related work as required
- Under supervision of the Chief Plant Operator performs responsible duties requiring some judgement in the careful operation of assigned equipment to avoid breakdowns and potential damage to public property
