  • Ability to Lift 50lbs independently

Responsibilities

  • A Gas Utility Operator’s responsibilities include working closely with Foremen and other team members, both inside and outside of equipment, to install gas facilities and other civil infrastructure
  • The equipment used includes backhoes, excavators, skid steers, loaders, and more as needed
  • Operating proficiently a variety of equipment including but not limited to, backhoes, excavators, loaders, skid steers
  • Perform hand digging with a shovel to locate existing utilities
  • Use various hand and power tools throughout various projects
  • Conduct tool and vehicle maintenance
  • Load and unload materials and equipment
  • Train workers to promote career growth
  • Follow company policies and procedures
  • Demonstrate Safe practices by leading by example
  • Maintain positive working relationships internally and with external constituents
  • It reflects management’s assignment of essential functions, and does not exclude or restrict the tasks that may be assigned
