- 2A Hoisting License (at least) DOT Medical Examiners Certificate Valid Driver’s License OSHA 10

Responsibilities
- Equipment Operators drive, control, and maintain heavy equipment and other necessary machinery in a safe, efficient manner
- Operators will work in a fast-paced environment
- Operators report directly to the Foreman
- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Excavating trenches and structures, laying pipe and precast concrete structures, loading trucks and back-filling trenches Placing shoring and trench boxes Operates a crawler or rubber-tired machine mounted with an excavator bucket May also be equipped with various hydraulic attachments (e.g. hammers, pipe vacuum) Performs daily inspection on equipment for issues and/or deficiencies Completes inspection paperwork daily (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report) and notifies the Foreman of any issues/defects
- Turn in reports to Foreman every day
- May assist the crew, when needed, in operating other equipment and/or helping the laborers on the ground Performs other duties as assigned
