Qualifications
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically with excavators
- Strong understanding of construction site operations and safety practices
- Understand and read construction drawings
- Able to shoot grades using field laser
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness for operating heavy machinery
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Hoisting License Required
- Excavator: 4 years (Required)
- Heavy equipment operation: 4 years (Required)
- Driver's License (Required)

Responsibilities
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to assist in various construction projects
- This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and the ability to work effectively on construction sites
- The Excavator Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed safely and efficiently
- Operate excavators and other heavy equipment, including bulldozers, loaders, and dump trucks, to perform excavation tasks
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality
- Perform tasks such as digging trenches, grading land, and moving materials as required by the project
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate work activities
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and regulations
- Assist with horizontal drilling operations when necessary
- Operate water trucks for dust control on construction sites
- Respond promptly to any equipment malfunctions or issues during operation
