Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in industrial electrical systems and will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical components and equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- Valid Massachusetts electrician’s license
- Proven experience as an electrician in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program
- No travel
- Electrical wiring: 1 year (Required)
- Electrical systems: 1 year (Required)
- Electrical License (Required)
- Master Electrician (MASSACHUSETTS) (Required)

Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components in the manufacturing facility
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes
- Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of the system
- Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes
- Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
- Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment and to ensure conformance to building and safety codes
- 8 hour shift
