Qualifications

•Active Journeyman Electrician License

•A technical degree in Electrical theory or a minimum of three to five years hands-on experience in the Electrical trade industry

•Knowledge of local electrical codes and regulations

•Ability to successfully complete the required company training

•Ability to work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed

•Woburn, MA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

•Electrical: 3 years (Required)

•Journeyman Electrical License (Required)

 

Responsibilities

•The Licensed Journeyman Electrician is responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems with a commitment to quality work, efficiency, and adherence to all local and national codes

•This role requires a strong proficiency in commercial and industrial environments, and the ability to troubleshoot, install, and maintain electrical circuitry in both critical and non-critical areas

•Strong proficiency in working within commercial and industrial environments

•Complete all required paperwork accurately and within a timely manner

•Maintain equipment and inventory in electrical spaces for maximum efficiency

•Exhibit professional conduct at all times, whether on the job site or driving company vehicles

•Participate in an on-call rotation schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays

•Respond to emergency situations, troubleshoot, and repair electrical issues promptly

•Provide strong customer service experience along with efficient troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

•Exhibit strong communication skills, efficiency, and organization

•Assist other trades as required

•Completes work in accordance with UG2's Standard Operating Procedures and Work instructions

•Physical Demands: The role requires the ability to perform physical labor related to electrical system maintenance and repair

•The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud

•Possible frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock

•Occasional exposure to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places and outside weather conditions

•Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions

•Availability to respond to after-hours emergencies as necessary
