Qualifications
•ALL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE A MASSACHUSETTS CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISORS LICENSE
•Strong and comprehensive sub trade knowledge
•Experience in supervising multiple trades at once
•Scheduling and coordination skills
•Must be able to multitask and prioritize
•Knowledge of reading and understanding blueprints, specifications, engineering reports, etc
•Knowledge of using software such as Procore
•OSHA 30
•Construction Supervisor / Contractor's License (MA SUPERINTEDENT LICENSE)
•First Aid/CPR Certification
Responsibilities
•The biggest priority of a site superintendent must be safety for all: tradesman, subcontractors- both construction safety and most recent COVID protocols
•Proactively initiate RFI's, Submittals, PCO's
•Manage and maintain schedules to meet hard deadlines
•Need to understand the full scope of projects
•Maintain budget for specific job
•Have weekly meetings with clients and subcontractors
•Form productive subcontractor relationships via frequent and proactive communication
•Speak with project PM / APM on a frequent basis
•Weekly safety meetings and documentation of these meetings
•Conduct inspections frequently on site to have as safe as a job site as possible
•Maintain inventory of all equipment and supplies
•Update all logs, paper and electronic including into uploading onto Procore
