Qualifications •Required Massachusetts Refrigeration License or Electrical License •Must be capable of following a wiring diagram on tracing installed wire •Very genuine and personable a must •Strong steady work history with 3 years minimum as an Electrician •Strong communication skills •To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily •Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions •Education and/or Experience One-year certificate from college or accredited technical school and five plus years related experience in a commercial/industrial environment •Certificates, Licenses, Registrations •Licensed Electrician in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts •Technical degree in Electrical theory or a minimum of three to five years hand on experience in the Electrical trade industry •Ability to successfully complete the required company training •Must be able to work varying shifts, weekend and holidays as needed •It means having a deep knowledge of your business and a thorough understanding of your goals •Boston, MA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) •Electrician: 1 year (Required)
Responsibilities •The essential function of the Electrician is to serve the customers by maintaining and repairing electrical systems with an emphasis on quality work, performed efficiently and following all applicable local and national codes •Strong proficiency in commercial and industrial environments •Must be able to troubleshoot, install and maintain electrical circuitry in critical and non critical areas •Complete all required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner •Maintain the equipment and inventory within electrical spaces for maximum efficiency •Attend required department meetings •Maintain any necessary licenses or certifications which may apply •Exhibit professional conduct at all times, whether at the job site or driving company vehicles •Participate in an on-call rotation schedule that includes nights, weekends and holidays •Responds to emergency situations and traces, troubleshoots and repairs problems; may wear a cell phone, pager and or carry a shop radio for rapid response •Efficient and organized •Assists all other trades as required •Completes work in accordance with UG2 Operating Procedures and Work Instructions
