Qualifications •The ideal Professional Engineer candidate must have a Professional Engineering (PE) license and be able to handle 2-3 residential projects a day •The candidate should have a good understanding of various solar industry codes, ASCE codes, and state codes relating to design and construction of commercial solar site installations •The ideal candidate must be able to review, redline, and stamp off on designs for solar panels and installations, draft engineering letters, and ensure that the drawing package for each project meets client requirements •Experience with solar design, layout, slope analysis, load determinations, calculations, and costing •Strong drafting skills and experience drafting engineering letters •Ability to inspect construction sites as necessary •Good understanding of engineering design inputs, client/customer requirements, and ability to deliver quality engineering solutions quickly
