Qualifications •A high school diploma with trade school or apprentice training as an electrician is required •At least 3 years' of master level building maintenance and new installation work experience required •Experience with electrical equipment and systems in a commercial building setting •A Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician license is required •An ability to respond to routine and emergency calls relating to electrical issues •An ability to lift up to 50 pounds and use of ladders and man-lifts •Must be able to work outside under adverse weather conditions including sun, snow, rain, and to be exposed to cold, heat, noise, smells, and other adverse conditions •Excellent communication and customer service skills •Masters license
Responsibilities •As the Electrician in Boston, MA, you're responsible for installations, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing new or existing electrical circuits, equipment, and systems at the property •You'll contribute by designing the effective and consistent delivery of maintenance and operational excellence that enhance the company’s mission, purpose and core values •Utilizes metering or testing devices to determine electrical characteristics of circuits, equipment, or systems •Conducts and documents weekly and monthly generator testing and inspections •Provide emergency response to situations related to utility failures, system or equipment malfunctions, safety or security issues •Investigating, troubleshooting, and takng corrective action as necessary •Maintains up-to-date records; working with Buildig Engines system (CMMS) to define all information related to preventative and corrective maintenance
