Qualifications •Licensed Professional Engineer in residing state is required •Expertise with RISA, STAAD or other structural design and analysis software •Working knowledge with the International Building Code (IBC & IEBC) •Experience effectively managing the technical, budgetary and client aspects of projects •Strong written and verbal communication skills •Valid drivers' license
Responsibilities •Duties will include the planning, design, and construction administration of a variety of vertical structure type projects •Preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates; and peer review services of designs and reports prepared by others •Project management, which includes working with internal and external clients, budgeting, and scheduling of work flow •Work with the practice and discipline leaders as well as our marketing director to assist in proposal writing and other business development type activities for this locale •Some travel will be required to client meetings and project sites, and potentially to other W&S office locations
