Qualifications •Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering (Required) •5 years of work experience in structural engineering inspections for commercial or residential buildings (Required) •Professional Engineering (PE) in the State of Florida (Required)
Responsibilities •Location: Aventura Professional Engineer to be responsible for conducting Structural inspections in buildings and facilities •The scope of the work includes conducting forensics investigations in commercial and residential buildings, including the building envelope and structural code analysis •Duties include visiting sites, inspecting and visiting job sites, consulting the structural code, developing assessment reports with accuracy, providing recommendations for repairs, communicating with stakeholders, regulatory and permitting agencies, creating and updating project schedules, developing Standard Operating Procedures for project activities, and communicating with clients and residents •The Professional Engineer will work closely with engineers and contractors in a dynamic setting, and the time will be spent in the field and office
