Qualifications
•Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician license or equivalent certification
•Proven experience as a commercial or industrial electrician
•Strong knowledge of the NEC and other electrical codes and regulations
•Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting electrical schematics
•Familiarity with logic controllers and other advanced electrical systems
•Ability to use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively
•Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve electrical issues
•Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
•Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require bending, lifting, climbing, or standing for extended periods of time
Responsibilities
•Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
•Perform electrical work according to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant regulations
•Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
•Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs
•Install and maintain low voltage systems, including lighting, security systems, and fire alarms
•Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure efficient completion of projects
•Use power tools and hand tools to complete electrical tasks
•Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment
