RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE
2 years minimum residential and/or commercial landscape construction experience
LICENSES/ CERTIFICATIONS
DOT Medical Card/Hoisting License
Valid Driver’s License with current insurance and clean DMVR
CDL License
JOB SUMMARY
The Landscape Foreman is responsible for leading a landscape crew of up to 8 members to implement residential and commercial landscape projects. The person will be responsible for keeping accurate records of work performed, promoting job work site safety, providing excellent customer service, and exhibiting pride and quality workmanship.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Lead and instruct a team of laborers to produce excellent and profitable product
Direct, oversee, and participate in work performed by your team. This is a hands-on position and requires you to perform any task that you would ask your team to perform. You are expected to work alongside the team.
Proficiently and safely operate a variety of small machinery and hand tools
Understand and meet project schedule deadlines without sacrificing customer service or excellent quality
Maintain and care for company equipment, tools, and vehicles
Complete project documentation in an organized and timely manner
REQUIREMENTS
Able to work independently or as part of a team
Self-motivated, possesses strong leadership skills, and possesses verbal and written communication skills
Strong project management experience organizing and directing all design and landscape projects from inception to completion, including ability to interpret plan specifications and technical procedures.
Willing to take ownership of their team, their work, and their assigned responsibilities. Checks that work is completed accurately according to project design, budget, and customer satisfaction. This includes monitoring the worksite periodically and ensuring any errors are corrected in a timely manner.
Professional in appearance and actions including being detail-oriented and quality-driven
Able to multi-task, work under pressure, and work through changing priorities
Able to problem-solve to minimize disruption, errors, and risks
Able to work overtime, weekends, and potential holidays should workload warrant it
Job will require constantly working outdoors in all types of weather conditions and exposure to elements
