Qualifications
•At least 3-5 years’ experience working as an electrician in residential homes
•Valid MA Journeyman Electrician License
•Possession of a valid Massachusetts Driver's License
•Ability to work a non-traditional workweek
•Outstanding technical knowledge, excellent people skills and focus on superior customer service
•Team player; ability to communicate effectively and work harmoniously with others

Responsibilities
•Perform a variety of electrical functions including maintenance, repair, installation and modification of equipment in residential homes for HVAC installs and home weatherization projects
•Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical wiring systems in residential homes
•Working from building plans, blueprints, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings and maintenance and repair manuals, determine the routing of wiring and execute plan
•Determine size, type and gauge of wiring, coupling, straps, conduits, etc
•to install electrical circuits, equipment, and components
•Utilize various conduit systems to include PVC, flexible, rigid and electrical metallic tubing
•Inspect I.C. recessed lighting in accordance with Mass Save requirements for insulation
•Review and assess knob and tub wiring for insulation installation in accordance with electrical codes and Mass Save program requirements
•Performs other duties as directed by Supervisor
•Timely completion and accuracy of all work policies
•Working closely and harmoniously with other employees
•Performing and documenting complete operational checks for all equipment
•Adherence to contract requirements, safety and health regulations, and company
•May perform work both indoors and outdoors as needed
•May be exposed to inclement weather conditions and other work conditions including excessive heat, cold, wind, snow and storms
•Requires extensive standing, walking, kneeling and bending
•May be periodically required to lift items in excess of 50 lbs
•Frequently exposed to noise, dust, dirt and other related hazards
