Qualifications
- Minimum requirements include a valid Massachusetts Class B CDL and a valid Hoisting Engineer’s License Classes 1C and 2B issued by the Massachusetts Department of Public Safety
- Other requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent and certification as a Public Weigher

- Pay range is $22.96 - $30.90 per hour
Responsibilities
- The incumbent will work under the general supervision of the Superintendent of the Recycling and Disposal Facility (RDF)
- This position is responsible for the safe operation of diesel and gas-powered equipment used for baling recyclable materials, screening yard waste products, grinding wood and brush, and loading compost and woodchips into containers and vehicles
- The role also involves piling and moving recyclable and other waste products at the RDF, as well as participating in strategies designed to maximize the Town’s revenue by removing recyclables from the waste stream
- The incumbent contributes to the RDF’s ongoing efforts to maintain a high standard of service delivery to its customers
- The equipment that the incumbent will be operating includes, but is not limited to, front-end loaders, forklifts, and trucks
