Qualifications
- 10 years construction experience
- 3 years heavy equipment operator experience
- Experience in a leadership role
- Valid Driver’s License
- DOT Health Card
- RI Operator License (MA Hoisting License is a bonus)
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certificate
- Ability to handle the physical (bending, lifting, climbing, stooping, etc) and environmental (working in heat, cold, rain, snow, etc.) demands of the job
- Knowledge of safety and industry standards including trenching, grades, utility work, etc
- Ability to read and understand project plans and specifications
- Ability to communicate, understand and follow written and verbal communications in English

Responsibilities
- Operate heavy construction equipment such as skid steers, loaders, excavators, off road dump trucks, etc
- Inspect equipment daily and perform basic maintenance
- Manage & oversee the job site crew to ensure safe & accurate work
- Review and understand site plans and project schedules
- Supervise and delegate job site tasks per plans
- Work with GC Site Supervisors to coordinate work and subcontractors
- Maintain regular communication with our Project Managers
- Coordinate equipment mobilization and report any issues with equipment
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, meeting all Federal, State and local safety regulations
- Lead by example including performing operator or laborer tasks as needed
