Qualifications
•Be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and stand/walk up to 10 hours and pass a necessary physical and pre-employment drug screen
•Be willing to work safely and efficiently while meeting daily production targets
•Have basic computer skills, fork truck skills, and the ability to do preventative maintenance and basic repairs on equipment, as needed
•Have the ability to follow directions and work independently
•Have the ability to use basic hand tools, i.e. wrenches, screw drivers, mallets
•Possess a Massachusetts Hoisting License for either 2A, 2B or 2C to operate a front end loader
•Required Education High School
Responsibilities
•The Heavy Equipment Operator will work with and directly report to the plant's Production Foreman
•The Operator will be directly involved in the monitoring and operation of several pieces of crushing and grading equipment
•This position will work with various sizes of abrasive grain and put those grains into containers for customer shipments or store in one of several warehouse locations throughout the plant
•The Heavy Equipment Operator will be responsible for working harmoniously and safely within a team environment
Benefits
•Pay range: $26.00-$29.00 per hour, based on experience
