Qualifications

- Must be able to communicate and collaborate with fellow employees, management and clients on a regular basis
- The ability to maintain order helps ensure deadlines are not missed for projects and makes work efficient
- Preferable knowledge of general equipment rigging
- Basic writing skills to accurately complete reports and other paperwork
- Good noncommercial driver’s license history to indicate a habit of safe driving
- Ability to remain stationary in the seat or operating area of the equipment for prolonged periods
- At least 7 years of experience in the field
- CDL license a benefit, but not needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic usage of computers and smartphone apps
- Hoister’s license required
- OSHA 10 license required
- Westfield, MA: Relocate before starting work (Required)
Responsibilities
- Punctuality
- Ability to operate a wide array of heavy equipment and attachments
- Inspecting equipment before and after use to ensure it’s in good working order
- Filling out performance records to report problems with equipment and track where and when it was used
- Cleaning equipment after use and disposing of any collected scraps or waste
- Completing minor repair work as needed
- Physical ability to lift and carry 50lbs
- Ability to work off hours if needed
- Ability to complete manual labor tasks
- Interacting professionally with clients and notating customer preferences, acting
