Qualifications
- MA Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with air brake endorsement
- MA Hoisting License (DPS 2A, 4E, 4G) to operate loaders, backhoes, catch basin cleaners, etc
- Ability to work overtime and respond to emergencies
- Ability to work in adverse conditions, including wastewater exposure
- HS diploma/equivalent
- Ability to pass background check, physical & drug test

- Hours: 7:00–3:00 (winter) / 6:30–2:30 (summer)
- Differential (Tues–Sat): $75 biweekly

Responsibilities
- Deliver top-notch service to the Franklin community
- Operate heavy equipment: loaders, backhoes, excavators, tractors, Class B trucks w/ plows & sanders, sweepers, rollers, mowers, compressors, etc
- Assist with laying pipes, repairing sidewalks, building structures, and maintaining roads
- Maintain athletic fields (mowing, lining, seeding, aerating)
- Plow, shovel, and sand roads, sidewalks & town properties
- Perform hands-on labor as part of a hard-working DPW crew
- Conduct routine equipment maintenance and follow all safety procedures
- Complete required reports and documentation
