Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of heavy equipment experience in an OSHA-regulated environment
- Valid driver’s license
- Massachusetts 2A Hydraulics License required
- Willingness and ability to learn and operate multiple types of equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic tool skills
- Ability to work a rotating shift schedule, including weekends as needed
- Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable kneeling, bending, and working in confined spaces or at heights
- Must qualify to wear a full-face respirator
- Comfortable working outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions

Responsibilities
- As an Equipment Operator at Reworld, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient processing of inbound materials and refuse using a variety of industrial equipment at our facility
- Operate equipment such as forklifts, track hoes, skid steers, vacuum trucks, tanker trucks, roll-off trucks, walking floor trailers, pressure washers, and material handling tools
- Receive, weigh, unpack, and label inbound containers
- Safely consolidate dumped refuse on the tipping floor
- Maintain housekeeping standards within assigned areas and throughout the facility
- Perform exterior site maintenance including litter collection, painting, snow removal, and ice prevention
- Manage traffic control for incoming and outgoing trucks
- Assist mechanics with equipment repairs as needed
- Support other operational tasks as assigned to ensure safe and efficient facility operations
