Qualifications •Team player who works well with others •Self-motivated & positive attitude •Good listening and communication skills •Good time-management skills •Ability to work in a fast-paced environment •Running Excavators (Mini/Regular) •Skid steers •Track Machines •Back Hoes •Dump Truck Operation •Valid Driver’s License •Operation of Equipment and Related Tools and taking care of said equipment/tools •Strength, stamina and mobility to perform heavy physical work when needed •Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs •repeatedly through an entire work day when needed •Hoisting License 1C-2A (Required) •Boston, MA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) •Driver's License (Required)
Responsibilities •The equipment operator will primarily operate equipment in support of general sitework operations •An equipment operator is expected to work both in equipment and on the ground as needed •(cleaning, greasing etc.) •Inspect equipment daily •Lubricate equipment per manufacturer's requirements •Fuel equipment as needed •Keep a clean workspace inside the equipment •Clean tracks at the end of each day •Operating machines on various sites •Transporting machine to site •Prep for hardscape installations •Grading/ Final Grading •Drainage work •Be able to shoot grades •Setting curbs •Snow plowing/sanding •Practice Safety Standards •Ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner, ensure all surrounding workers are equipped with proper PPE •Ensure all hoisting and lifting operations follow proper safety regulations •Ensure all excavations and trenches are safe and protected •**Caterpillar machinery •Will need to get out of the machinery and contribute to work when needed
