Qualifications

  • Proficiency in construction management and civil engineering
  • Experience in commercial construction and site development
  • Knowledge of mechanical construction processes
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and project management principles
  • 1C-2A Hoisting License (minimum requirement)
  • DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate
  • OSHA 10 Certification
  • Ability to run a crew and operate equipment as needed
  • Capability to unload materials safely and efficiently
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in the construction industry

  • The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $70.00/hr

Responsibilities

  • As a Construction Supervisor, you will play a key role in managing field personnel and overseeing projects assigned by management
  • Your expertise will contribute to the successful execution of construction tasks, ensuring efficiency and safety on the job site
  • Manage personnel in the field to ensure project goals are met
  • Oversee projects assigned by management, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency
  • Utilize GPS systems for precise project layout and execution
  • Read and interpret plans and specifications accurately
  • Monitor project costs and handle all billings related to the projects
  • Attend project meetings to stay updated and make informed decisions
  • Order project materials as approved by project managers
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed on-site to maintain a safe working environment
  • Assist in all phases of project efficiencies to optimize performance
  • Resolve field issues with personnel promptly and effectively
  • Notify management of any equipment failures
  • Schedule project start dates and ensure timelines are adhered to
  • Collaborate with engineers, officials, and owners to resolve any project issues
  • Track and record change orders accurately
  • Ensure contract deadlines are met and work closely with sub-contractors
  • Work primarily on road work and commercial job sites, ensuring a dynamic and hands-on experience in the field
