Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management or related discipline plus five (5) years supervising construction
•Associate degree in engineering, Construction Management or related discipline plus seven (7) years supervising construction
•Minimum of ten (10) years relevant experience in a supervisory position on a multidisciplinary, technical project within the industrial, power, utility, gas or oil industries
•Licenses & Certifications
•Massachusetts Driver's License (Required)
•Construction Supervisor's License
•Journeyman's Pipefitters License
•Journeyman's Electrical License
•Knowledge of LNG, gas, power or other plant construction, operations and maintenance principles, practices, safety standards and business processes
•Familiarity with a broad spectrum of construction materials, methods and processes
•Proficient with MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook)
•Proven problem solving, schedule management, project administration and documentation abilities
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team
•Candidate must be able to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications and be able to identify discrepancies or conflicts within the documents as well as in the field
Responsibilities
•This position provides observation of construction activities taking place at the LNG/LPG facilities
•The position will observe both internal / external resources, providing company representation
•This position is multi-faceted with responsibilities that include the coordination of activities, review of technical documents, input into development and monitoring of budget and schedules, reconciliation of time and material invoices, various administrative duties, monitoring of contractor performance for safe, efficient and quality work practices
•Ensures the safety of personnel by taking direct preventive measures, participating effectively in weekly safety meetings and ensuring all related standards, rules and laws are followed
•Must be able to communicate safety deficiencies directly to contractor
•They will also be expected to conduct and document observations of construction as it progresses
•Communicates with project group concerning all aspects of construction
•Coordinates work activities between the plant operator and contractor
•Ensures that work is performed in accordance with appropriate Company standards and work methods including monitoring for adherence to design and ensuring productivity
•Monitors current and future activities to ensure plans and schedules maximize productivity, control costs and meet or exceeds quality requirements
•Conducts field measurements to confirm material quantities and drawing dimensions
•Monitors the execution of contractor project activities to evaluate construction techniques in terms of quality, safety, timeline schedule and cost efficiencies
•Performs reporting activities that monitor, track and detail site activities in areas of importance such as cost overruns, deviations in design, change order request, schedule and stakeholder issues
•Monitors progress of site activities, evaluating tasks to eliminate waste, and recommends corrective actions to ensure the project remains within schedule and budget

•Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications
