- Massachusetts Licensing & Compliance Requirements
- Candidates must meet applicable Massachusetts licensing requirements, including:
- Strong knowledge of 780 CMR (Massachusetts State Building Code)
- Ability to pass CORI background check if required by project
- 3-5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or similar leadership role
- Proven experience managing commercial and/or residential projects in Massachusetts
- Strong understanding of Massachusetts permitting and inspection processes
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Proficient with construction management software and Microsoft Office
- Valid Massachusetts driver’s license and reliable transportation
- You will lead crews, maintain standards, ensure regulatory compliance, solve challenges & deliver projects that meet both client expectations and Massachusetts construction standards

Responsibilities
- The Construction Superintendent will oversee all field operations for assigned Massachusetts-based projects, ensuring safety, quality control, scheduling, subcontractor coordination & compliance with all Massachusetts State Building Codes and local municipal requirements
- This role serves as the on-site leader and primary point of contact for field-related matters
- Oversee daily on-site construction activities
- Supervise subcontractors, vendors & field crews
- Maintain project schedule and ensure milestone deadlines are met
- Enforce OSHA and Massachusetts-specific safety regulations
- Ensure compliance with the Massachusetts State Building Code (780 CMR)
- Coordinate inspections with local building departments
- Manage permitting and documentation requirements
- Review and interpret blueprints, plans & specifications
- Maintain daily logs and site reports
- Manage site logistics, materials & equipment
- Communicate progress and updates to Project Managers
