CSL Continuing Education Changes for 2018

If you are a Massachusetts CSL licensee and you weren’t able to complete your construction supervisor license course online before the end of 2017, the regulations around online coursework have changed.

As of January 1, 2018, there’s a limit to online continuing education for a construction supervisor license. Approved by the Board of Building Regulations and Standards (BBRS), you can read all about these changes in more detail here.

Less time online

Completing your continuing education online is the most convenient way to achieve these requirements. You can work at your own pace, using your computer or even a tablet or smart phone, and you can even pause the course and resume it later.

However, these regulation changes mean that you can now complete 6 hours of Mass csl continuing education online:

  • CSL: a maximum of 6 hours online, with remainder completed in classroom.
  • CSSL: All 6 hours may be completed online.

Remember, with all online continuing education, licensees will be required to pass a final exam and occasional quizzes to ensure you’re actively participating.

More time in class

Online courses are a popular and easy way to complete your MA CSL continuing education requirement. But with the new regulations requiring more classroom time, you can still be sure you will get the responsible and trusted educational resources you need to receive your MA Construction Supervisor License in a reliable timeframe.
